La Roca The Rock is a church devoted to developing an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe that worship is something that can be expressed in everything we do, whether that be nourishing our bodies with food, chatting with friends, playing music, or enjoying our community. We not only learn what the Bible says but we try to Live it out too. Whatever your age, gender or race, there is a special place for you at LaRoca TheRock. The Church
The Church is not a place but rather a living group of people who have discovered the Love of God and have responded to it. We try to keep it simple by doing these two things Love God & Love our neighbors, the rest will fall in its' place. La Roca TheRock Church believes that if we experience God's love in our lives then the results will be to love Him back and share the love with others which will create a change in our world. Pastors Manny & Maggie
Manuel & Magda were called into ministry while they were away from the place they called home. While stationed in Camp Pendleton San Diego they started their life together and God took this time to prepare them for a future they never imagined having. After Manuel's return from Iraq both Magda and he were asked to be part of the Hispanic Leadership Team at Vista Assembly. They were both honored and amazed at this opportunity it was there when they began to see church differently, they served in various capacity from the welcome team, missions, children and youth ministries. Years later and after many lessons learned they felt God calling them back to their native Texas. After a year of being in Midland an opportunity arose to help out at Firmes En La Roca. Fast Forward and a few changes a renewed church came to be La Roca The Rock Church. The journey has begun and will continue, they and their three children invite you to be a part of the journey!
KIDS ROCK COMING SOON 2022
One of our most important ministries is investing in the future. Too often we see our kids being neglected with a mediocre children's ministry and wonder why they don't want to come to church when they're older.
